Can I use the free trial more than once?
Overview
Each store can use the Free Trial once for each paid plan.
Free Trial eligibility is tracked separately for each plan. This means that using the trial for one paid plan does not
affect your eligibility for another paid plan.
Here’s how Free Trial eligibility works when you subscribe to or switch between plans.
How does Free Trial eligibility work?
1. One Free Trial per paid plan
Each store is eligible for the Free Trial once for each paid plan.
For example:
- If you have already used the Free Trial for the Unlimit plan, you cannot use the Unlimit trial again.
- If you have not used the Free Trial for the Scale plan, you can still start a Scale trial.
- If you have already used the Free Trial for both Unlimit and Scale, you will no longer be eligible for a trial on
either plan.
Important: Free Trial eligibility is tracked separately for each paid plan.
2. Switching plans does not reset your trial
Switching to another plan does not reset a Free Trial you have already used.
For example:
Free Trial Plan A → Plan B → Plan A
When you return to Plan A:
- You will not receive another Free Trial for Plan A.
- Plan A will remain marked as Free Trial already used.
- You can still subscribe to Plan A at its regular price.
The same rule applies to all paid plans.
3. Free Trial availability on the pricing page
If you have not used the Free Trial for a paid plan, the Free Trial option will be available when you select that plan.
If you have already used the Free Trial for a plan:
- You will not be able to start another Free Trial for that plan.
- The plan may display Free trial already used.
- You can still upgrade or subscribe to the plan at its regular price.
Tip: You may still be eligible for a Free Trial on another paid plan that you haven't tried before.
Before switching plans
Before switching to another paid plan, keep in mind:
- Each paid plan has its own Free Trial eligibility.
- A Free Trial can only be used once per plan, per store.
- Switching plans, downgrading, or returning to a previous plan does not reset a trial you've already used.
- You can always subscribe to a plan at its regular price after its Free Trial has been used.
