Ensure Fordeer: badge is enabled by clicking on Enable button in Quick setup guide on app dashboard 1. Press Save in the top right corner 1. What is badge? Product badges enhance sales by highlighting important product information to customers. They can leverage psychological cues like scarcity, social proof, and urgency to drive sales. Create a Badge Step 1: Select Badge Type Navigate to the Badges section in the sidebar menu of our app. Then, either click on Create badge or Create badge on the Badge Table. Then select the badge type to meet your needs. Step 2: Design Label After selecting label type, you will move to the Design screen. Here are some customizations you can apply when designing the labels on Design page. - Template: You can change the badge shape, background by clicking to Change image Besides, you can add the link, alt text and tool tip to the badge text. - Badge content: Here, you can customize the badge content using our available variables and product metafields. Additionally, formatting the text to bold, italic, and more is very simple. Additionally, the ability to translate badges into multiple languages is a valuable feature for badge text. Here you can change the font family and text color If you select image badge, you can choose to upload the image badge from your devices or using our available templates. - Layout: You can select which devices the badge will be displayed on: Desktop and Mobile. And you can preview the badge display on the preview section on the right side of the screen. - Placement: On this section, you can change the font size, position and alignment by pages. As you know that, the image size on product pages and collection pages are different. You can check out this article to understand more clearly and how to set it up. If you change the badge placement, the preview will change as your settings. - Margin: You can change the margin and size of the badge - Style: You can select the background type and decide its color. - Advanced: You can add animation, rotation, stroke, shadow or custom CSS code to ensure the badge display as you want. Step 3: Assign Products to Show Badges Once you've finished designing your badge, choose which products the badges will appear on by clicking the Label icon on the sidebar. - General: We support many ways to select products for you to choose: - All products, specific products, specific collections, specific tags and specific variants. - Inventory status: Select products based on inventory status: in stock, out of stock,.. - Price range: Select products based on product's price range - Advanced: there are many settings supporting you select products streamlessly. - Date range: Select products based on their added/published date - Product type: Select products based on product type - Product vendor: Select products based on product's vendor - Discount range: Select products based on product's discount Discount range is calculated by subtracting sales price from compared at price - Weight range: Select products based on product's weight When the "other" unit option is chosen, the system will only validate the provided value. For example, if the settings are set to 1-100 "other" and products are listed as 10kg, 5oz, or 99g, these products will all be considered within the acceptable range. However, a product listed as 500g would not be considered valid. Step 4: Select Pages Labels Will Appear On - Display: You can choose which pages the badge will display on your store by selecting the pages and exclude the page - Schedule settings: You can schedule which time the badge will display on the storefront. You can select the time by date range or day by day. - Display by country: Select country restriction & visibility. Select None to show worldwide. - Display by customers: Decide which customer base can see the badge display with many conditions. Step 5: Click Create Click Create button at the end to save all the changes. Check the badge display Once everything is set up, publish the badge and verify that it displays correctly on your storefront. Introducing the Bundle Label Tool Currently, Fordeer offers two ways to create label bundles for your products: - Basic Label Bundle: Create using margin adjustments. - Advanced Label Bundle: Using our new Bundle Label Tool (latest feature). From the sidebar menu, navigate to Bundle Labels and click the Create Bundle Label button. 1. Design Your Bundle Label - On the left side of your screen, use our app default blocks to customize the bundle label. - If not, click Add Block and choose the type of labels you want to showcase on your products. Since this is a bundle label, you’ll need to add more than one block. 1. Customize the Layout - Layout Options: You can choose between horizontal, vertical, or custom layouts for your bundle label. - Gap Adjustments: Control the spacing between individual labels in the bundle. - Width Settings: Adjust the width of the bundle label. For instance, setting the width to 100% will make the bundle label cover the full width of your product image. In the example below, we have three vertical labels showing on product pages, each occupying 30% of the width. - Positioning: Easily adjust where the bundle label appears on your product image. - Margin Adjustments: Fine-tune the top, bottom, left, and right margins to position your bundle label exactly where you want it. 1. Customize Individual Labels - On the left side of the screen, click Text Label or Image label to bring up the settings bar on the right side of the screen. - You’ll find a range of customization options for each label like creating a basic label. Besides, we add some new additional settings including: line height, min height and adjust padding. If you image label, the settings will be similiar with basic label settings Noted - Label size on collection pages & product pages and mobile & desktop Our app provides flexibility to customize label size for different devices (mobile and desktop). You can also configure labels separately for various pages, such as the homepage, collection pages, and product pages, ensuring your labels appear exactly how you want them on every platform. To get started, select the devices and placements where you want to display the bundle label. You can then adjust the label stack size for each page and device individually. Below is an example of how to set up a bundle label sizes for collection pages and product pages on both desktop and mobile devices. On Desktop devices On Mobile devices 1. Important: When a Price Badge is displayed, it replaces your theme's existing price display. If you use an App Block to position the Price Badge, disable the existing price display to avoid duplicate prices. How do I create a Price Badge? Step 1: Create a Price Badge 1. From the app sidebar, go to Price Badges. 2. Click Create price badge to start a new campaign. Step 2: Customize the Price Badge In the Design tab, you'll find three default elements: - Compare Price - Price - Badge You can click each element to customize it individually. 1. Compare Price Select Compare Price to customize how the original price appears. You can adjust settings such as: - Background - Bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough - Text color - Font family - Font size - Desktop and Mobile visibility - Placement Tip: Use strikethrough on the Compare Price to make the difference between the original and current price easier to recognize. 2. Price Select Price to customize the product's current price. You can adjust its text style, color, font, size, device visibility, placement, and other available settings. 3. Badge Select Badge to add promotional information alongside the prices, such as SALE, SAVE 40%, or another message. You can customize the badge's: - Icon, icon size, color, background - Content, text style - Font size and line height - Desktop and Mobile visibility You can click Add block to add additional elements or hide them from your Price Badge layout. Tip: Use the preview to check your Price Badge while customizing each element. You can switch between Product page/Collection page & others and Desktop/Mobile from the selectors above the preview. You can also insert a line break to separate elements with a new line, giving you more control over the layout and presentation. Step 3: Choose which products display the Price Badge Go to the Products tab to choose which products the Price Badge applies to. You can target: - All products - Specific products - Specific collections - Specific tags - Specific variants You can also use additional conditions such as Inventory status, Price range, Date, Product title, Product type, Product vendor, Discount range, and Weight range to narrow down the products. Important: A product must meet the conditions you've configured for the Price Badge to appear. Step 4: Configure display settings Go to the Settings tab to control when and where your Price Badge appears. Depending on your setup, you can configure settings such as: - Pages where the Price Badge appears - Schedule settings - Country visibility - Customer visibility Step 5: Position the Price Badge (Optional) To control where the Price Badge appears in your theme, use either an App Block or Snippet Code. If you're using an App Block, disable your theme's existing price display to prevent duplicate prices. Tip: Try the App Block first when supported by your theme. This guide explains how to create and publish a Trust Badge campaign. Before creating a Trust Badge Before you start, make sure Fordeer: Badge is enabled on your store. 1. From the app dashboard, click Activate. 2. Enable Fordeer: Badge. 3. Click Save in the top-right corner. Important: Fordeer: Badge app must be enabled for your Trust Badges to appear on your storefront. How do I create a Trust Badge? Step 1. Create a new Trust Badge 1. From the app sidebar, go to Trust Badges. 2. Click Create trust badge to start a new campaign. Step 2. Choose and customize your Trust Badge In the Design tab, you can build your Trust Badge by adding and customizing different blocks. Click Add block and choose the type of content you want to add: - Trust badge content: Add a heading, description, or other text to your Trust Badge. - Trust badge image: Add payment badges or upload your own badge images. - Trust badge icon: Add an icon with supporting text, such as delivery, security, or buyer protection information. You can add multiple blocks and arrange them to create the layout that works best for your store. Select any block in the left sidebar to customize its content and appearance. To allow our app to add code file to your current theme, please go to Account section and click the Synchronize button for the application to automatically sync and address any potential errors. If you change to another theme or encounter any issues with our application, kindly click Synchronize button again. If this way does not work for you, kindly follow each steps below: Step 1: Open your theme code Go to Online store => Theme => Select Edit code action in your desired theme. Step 2: Add a new template On the Templates files, click Add a new template Step 3: Create the Fordeer template Select template type is search => liquid and add file name fordeer.productsresult Step 4: Save the template Click Done button to complete the adding file process.
